The Drone Aerobatic Display Team will neither confirm or deny their existence. Unobserved nose to tail flying perfect circles is a particular favourite, were there to actually be such a manoeuvre.

The biggest difference between Drone Aerobatics and conventional flying teams is in the observing audience, which is them and not you.

Their motto? Now They See You, Now You Don't.

This explains a lot. Recently I've been seeing what I though were flying saucers - now I know they're just drones. [+]

When the cups and spoons join the saucers, you know they are escalating.

I envision these drones as flying bagpipes, droning away.

When I finish my time machine I'm going to have some strong words with the fellow that finalised the spelling of the word Manoeuvre... if he had any idea how much of a pain in the ass it is to have to sound out the phonetic sound of what's written and then translate it to the actual sound of the word represented, he'd slap himself.

       Man-oh-ee-you've-reh...
ain't nobody got time for that crap

       Just transferred illustration to Tumblr.
