Seeing as there are loads of Terry Pratchett and Discworld-based comments all the time around the Halfbakery, how about a restaurant based upon the novels. Rat would be served with ketchup, and the theme music would be the dwarves theme song 'Gold', which consists of the lyrics: 'Gold, gold, gold, gold,
gold', etc, to varying tunes, along with Rincewinds' potatoes (served by those beautiful women he meets somewhere along the line), along with the entire cast of take-outs that have featured in his books over the years.

At some point during the evening, peoples' meals should
be interrupted by a watch chase. Or possibly an
inhumation. |

We could got Nobby to not do exotic dances. |

[DF] - I used to use 'detritus' for IRC. I shortened it to 'det,' but then most forums seemed to require a five letter minimum name. Hence, 'detly.' Even though the HB didn't require it, it sorta stuck. |
No, we're sayin' dat you're really fick.

We could use B.S. Johnson's manicuring device to peel the potatoes. |
Maybe if we made a few tweaks and fix the mail sorting machine, and it might make really good mixed salads... For those who like their mixed salads with the lettuce in one corner, the tomato in another, the avocado in another and same with the salad dressings... |
And when all is said and done, and eaten and drunk, Nanny Ogg's chocolate desert and a trip to the dark room in the back. |

Any slanting floors or narrowing hallways here? |

"Eat 'til it hurts at 'Harga's House of Ribs' " |

Can we locate it on the site of an ancient temple and open on the night of a full moon? |
//Can we locate it on the site of an ancient temple and open on the night of a full moon?// Er, if you think that there's a market for it, yes..? |
It would be out of business pretty soon [froglet] (vast knowledge of discworld aquired for this <wink>). I think [baconbrain] might not like this idea |

What about Nanny Ogg's Bananana Surprise? |
And if you drink too much Winkle's Old Peculiar, there is always the Klatchian Coffee. |
Yeah, I know what you mean. It was only after I posted that that I thought... Doh! |
//And if you drink too much Winkle's Old Peculiar// I prefer 'Turbot's Really Odd'. |

// I prefer 'Turbot's Really Odd'.//
You sure you wouldn't rather have some of this scumble? It's made from mostly apples. |

From experience the dwarf cake, the rat pizza* and Englebert's enhancer are all good. (From nanny Og's cook-book.) |

We could have Rincewind do a non-magic show. |

Having a Discworld Restaurant would be almost as good as
not having a Discworld Restaurant, so [+] |
[+]... could make something almost completely unlike Disney World: huge theme park/area |
