People need to eat frequently, and the refrigerator is a
common place in the household where people go a lot.
With this in mind, it was a common place, in the paper
age, to hang pictures, to-do notes, and high-scoring tests
returned by teachers. I feel like this tradition could be
dying, and
I think it's important to give children this sort
of spotlight to encourage further achievement.
Proposed is a fairly rugged digital photo frame with strong
magnets designed to be placed on refrigerators in
households with children. Unlike prior art, this photo frame
would be specifically optimized for letter-sized documents
(8.5"x11" in the US). It would feature a wide viewing angle
to be plainly visible at all heights. In one embodiment of
the idea, it may even be powered by the refrigerator itself
to avoid battery consumption and the hazards of wires
(e.g. choking, tripping, etc.).

we have the problem. |

My fridge has a stainless steel door, which magnets don't stick to. |

Integrate a large LCD touchscreen into the door. |

That way, if there's a camera inside, it would also be possible to examine the contents of the fridge without opening the door; and check that the light goes off, too. |

Surely only the cook goes to the fridge regularly, and then when they are cooking, they will be rather busy? I mean it's great if you encourage your children to cook meals for the family, but that is hardly the time to distract them with a digital screen. |

If you have sea fish in your fridge, it could display the message "All your bass are belong to us" ... |

The power for this machine must not come from the elctricity the fridge runs on or from its motor but only from the difference in temperature. |
