Although it's a theme park, this is really a place to go when you fancy a bit of solitude.
Watch the traffic lights will flash from green to red despite the lack of cars, walk through telephone exchanges while they click, hang out in the post office where every position is closed. Enjoy a world of
melancholic peace and quiet.
Sadly, Del Amitri World wouldn't be a big money spinner as it could only be used by one person at a time. However, staffing costs would be minimal.
An explaination for [Beau]

I sure hope there's tumbleweed. |
Sounds brilliant. I wouldn't need anyone to tell me not to come home too soon. |
Presumably you'd be able to grab a bite to eat - a Justin Curry, perhaps. |
Sorry - I only just found out about this one... |
(Subtley meaning, therefore, that I am always...) |
[BrauBeaton], it's based on a song by the band Del Amitri. |
At least it's different from Don Ameche world. |
Del Amitri also did a genuinely poor song for the Scotland's soccer team during France'98: "Don't come home too soon" |
Like my home town on a sunday
evening. Most excellent idea + |
"Would we all be lonely tonight and lonely tomorrow if we were at a theme park? discuss, in 2,000 words or less"
also.. I'm worried about the lack of beer. |

Yes, sadly only one person can use the theme park at any one time, which makes it a bit of an extravagance. However, although the barman's called time, there's no line about him locking the door. Think of it as an honestly bar. |
Only if Del Amitri are not there. |
So the theme park is named after a band which sung a song about the general nature of the park? Makes sense. |

I give you Spandau Ballet World, wherein certain things are considered consistent with fact or reality. |
// I give you Spandau Ballet World // ah, now that would be Gold. |
Looks like you're finding it hard to write the next line, though. |
It hardly needs to be restricted to one person at at
time... As long as some sort of separation is
maintained such that they never see each other,
numerous people could explore the park at once. |
Of course, someone could still rent the entire place if
they so desired. |
