By popular demand, this novel, 1/3 scale timepiece has been developed and manufactured in the finest white porcelain. The yellow stream that is the focus of the water clock seems to come out of nowhere. It works on the same principle as the floating faucet. The liquid is pumped up a curved, transparent
tube and runs back down the outside.
As the bowl fills up, the surface level indicates the minutes. Every 60 minutes, the clock flushes to reset the level. At the same time the flush handle points to the next hour. The faux urine that fills and is flushed is held in the tank.
One can choose if the babbling, burbling clock’s timely flushes are to be accompanied by one of several spooky, hour chimes. For example, three o’clock could be indicated by, “ooOOOoo ooOOOoo ooOOOoo,” or, “mwah Haa Haa Haa.”
The next in the eerie series of peeing-ghost clocks will be a digital model with a wee stream that seems to write the time in snow.

I thought this would have been being some kind of reference to the kiddies song about "my grandfather's clock" that "stopped dead, never to go again, when the old man died". At least that clock, from that point hence, was exactly right twice a day. |
