Create-a-Star

Computer program allows you to create your own pop star

In modern day music, pop stars come and go like newspapers, and many of them have the talent level of a mannequin. Therefore, I suggest that a computer program be created to allow teeny boppers to create their very own pop stars, saving their parents lots of money in n'sync concert tickets, and saving us from the constant bombardment about Britney, Justin and all of them. We all know that many of these acts are pre-fabbed anyway, so we might as well make them all the more convenient. Teens could hold contests among themselves to see who created the best star. Songs could be selected from the universal database of rewarmed melodies that most producers love, or you could compose yourself. Words would work the same way, chosen from the database of rhyming pop words. Ex: You, true, blue, too, new, knew, zoo.

"I knew you were true, But I needed someone new. Now you're blue too, Like a baboon at the zoo."

Of course, it doesn't have to make sense...that's the beauty of pop music, isn't it? I'll let you decide that one.

[Darknight], the idea is good and would be useful, but how I make them belive their Star is very popular? It's quite impossible...

Not to wander too far off topic, but Sleepygrass's(?) reaction to 'star' is much like mine regarding 'super'. What the heck is a 'super-model' and how does one differ from a mortal model? Exactly how brightly does a 'super-star' shine? The media's penchant towards superfluity makes me super-mad.

Rats, I was hoping that this would be about creating our very own flaming balls of H and He.

The new movie called: "Simone" with Al Pacino is pretty cool and touch a little bit the subject. It's not flawless but you can see how people can get stupid for idol... After all, even the Pope goes to pee when he wake up (maybe not anymore but he used to do it...)
