Condensing boilers [link] operate most energy efficiently when the humidity is high.
To improve the efficiency when the air is dry why not take the condensate from the exhaust and spray it into the intake?

I've figured out why not to do that: |

The extra energy required to turn the water being sprayed into the intake into water vapor, will be at least as much as the increased heat which can be usefully extracted. |
