Digital Paper Riff

If digital paper gets cheap, there may be a realistic use-case for the 1k IP addresses/ Sqft. that IPv6 is supposed to give us.

Your clothes are instantly infinitely cooler than the 80s' hypercolor trend. They change pictures and patterns during the day, to fit your style or brighten so you don't absorb too much sunny day. A pattern of tweed over a pint, glassy blue silver for a club.

The walls become virtual sanctuaries of life. Maybe Maya-style creeping vines, or a bird follows you down the street, giving you directions for where you're headed, or just whistling a sweet song.

P2P Post-Its near restaurants. "Loved the Ostrich Burger, but skip the fries."

Using your cell, visit the GPS-located webpage for the wall you're standing next to, micro-pay for 5 minutes of time an hour from now, record your marriage proposal over your phone, play it back on the wall for a quick QA check, and then show up later with your soon to be wife.

Annotation:

Nice riff. The three first ideas have been posted before in various forms; I think the geographically addressed ad-hoc wall display use is new.

Tip: If you want to make it easier for the moderators, limit yourself to one separate invention per posting - that lets us move them around and group them with others. Thanks!

I thought this was going to be for those who like to "paint the town red"!
