Or just wrap up the tree in cellophane. |

If the staff can't be trusted to decorate a tree in the
conventional manner, you need to seriously review your
domestic employment strategy. |

Tell us how cats get caught up in the net, and then strangle themselves. Then we will buy. |

Can lights not be wireless, powered and controlled by a
suitable RF transmitter? Then at least the whole trailing
cable could be obliviated. |

This would be even better without the tree. |

Pondering the net: if instead of ornaments one
employed helium filled mylar balloons, the LED-
litten net could be carried while aloft by
synchronized radio controlled helicopters. Perhaps
the radial spokes of the net between helicopters
could be stiff, so they would maintain proper
distance from one another. The entire device could
move slowly across the sky; maybe more Ezekiel
than Luke but still glorious. It could settle down
onto trees and buildings as appropriate. |

I also thought the ornaments would be pre-loaded on the net. With a skillful casting technique, the tree would be decorated in 2 seconds. |

I thought this was to catch the ornaments when they fall (eg. if you have Chip & Dale living in your Christmas tree) |
