Chocolate melts at a point just below body temperature. A waterbed filled with chocolate would start off flat, and slowly react to the person laying in it, melting and conforming to the persons body.
At the end of the night's sleep, a heating unit below the bed would heat up the chocolate to melting
point, thereby flattening the impression left, making the bed ready for the next night.

A half-baked approach to be sure, but this is exactly the mechanism of Tempurpedic beds: they react to your body heat to let you sink in. |
