Chime Swing

fun for all ages and music tastes

This is a large chime with a ring of aluminium tubes struck by a knocker activated not by the wind, but by a person on a central swing. Play a tune by swinging in different directions or close your eyes, twist yourself up, push back and then sway and twirl wildly to a random cacophony.

The motorized version turns the ring exactly, so that lazy, straight oscillations are accompanied by a melody in the same tempo.

Has anyone been kind enough to mirror FarmerJohn's site?
