Chable

Chair table

The 'Chable' is inspired by Transformers, the movie and the toys. But it is a bit more boring. The far side of the table lifts up to become the back of the chair. The sides of the table lift up to become the arms. The seat automatically and simultaneously drops & changes shape slightly by means of clever geometrical sliding panels built by a master craft woodworkwer to form a tailored dimple the shape of the arse cheeks.

Not exactly a new idea https://pin.it/qnwrfvpz6dj75p
This is just one of dozens of chairs that convert to tables that come up in Google. [DrCurry, Oct 13 2018]

Annotation:

Not really seeing the point of this - you can sit at the table once you’ve converted it to a chair plus you have nothing to sit at once you’ve converted it to a chair.

Plus chairs with built-in tables are a staple at every school and university, so why not just take one of those home, and get the best of both worlds?

Ah the most excellent Dr Curry has been smoked out of his shell again after so many years.
