Find the correct category

Between the multiplicity and the sheer amount of categories, finding the correct category can be hard. Some ides fit into multiple categories, some categories are the exact same thing, in different super-categories. And sometimes, the category that you are looking for has a different nme than you are thinking.

A small search function that searches not for ideas, but categories. Keywords link to certain categories, such as "Bath" would bring up Product: Bath and Home: Bathtub, as well as Health: Hygiene.

The category index tables accessed from the buttons at the bottom of this page are not sufficient for you?

This is for finding the correct category for placing an idea into. Sometimes it's hard.

I use the search function for this : find an idea using the same keywords as your new offering. Check that idea's category. Add your new idea to that cat.

Good idea. The regular full text search can get you some part of the way there, but the categorization support could be a lot better, including what you're suggesting.
