Ingredients include "Essence of Cat," derived by boiling cat
fur.
Product available in these three favorite flavors:
-Persian
-Siamese
-Alley cat

do dogs actually like the taste of cat ? will they chose it in preference to steak or chicken ? |
|
|
Given the choice between moggie and mutton, my labrador would eat the mutton first. |

when I worked in the flavour industry we did some work for a guy who wanted to make pet food for snakes. He knew snakes went mental for crickets, so we took some crickets, extracted them and did a flavour match. The snakes loved it. Never did cats though.
|

It sounds like a great marketing idea. Just throw "Cat Flavored" on the label (along with the other boxes which might be bacon flavored, beef flavored, ...) |

The marketing of pet treats has always been geared toward humans. It doesn't matter what it actually tastes like. |
