Caseless devices

Why add more layers?

It astounds me that so many people buy devices with a back cover and a screen, only to add a back cover protector and screen protector -- as if the designer of the device took no care over the durability and protection of the devices in the first place.

This entire industry of cases for cases and glass protection overlays for glass screen overlays make e-gadgets thicker and more expensive than they need to be.

Welcome to iNakeds, where your device of desire comes exposed in circuitry and bare in pixels. Choose your own durable and replaceable case and glass, and be on your way.

Even those with sapphire screens? Carry many diamonds around in your pocket, do you?

Yes but if you have spent £5 on a screen protector and £10 on a case protector, do you not care about your £15 investment? Perhaps you should consider spending an extra 50p on a flexi-case-case-protector to protect the add-on case that protects the built-in case that protects that actual working parts of your ee-telephone or whatever piece of Chinese sweatshop electronica is the must-have social grooming tool this afternoon.

The screen protector for my iPad cost me $7.50 and adds less than a mm thickness and maybe 1/5 of an ounce in weight. I don't consider that excessive for the protection it provides.
