In cartoons, springs are capable of making a laughable type of exaggerated "boing" sound. I have never heard the equivalent sound emerging from a real spring, no matter what is done to it.
However, there is no reason why this sound cannot be manifest using simple pre-recorded/speaker technology.
Combined
with a basic triggering mechanism it should be quite easy to create a bed that emits a sustained "boing" sound. For me the best time for this would be when flopping down on it after a hard day's work.

That would also be the best time for it to fold up on you like a venus flytrap. + |

It is a delightful sound, that. I believe it was the inspiration behind the naming of an airplane manufacturer, inspired by the sound their airplanes make when landing (although, if true, the name is another colossal spelling FAIL) --- but I digress, sort of. Infinitely bunworthy. [+] |

Wrong. The name is Boeing... (Which, ironically, is wrong) |

It's not a bad bed... it's just drawn that way. |
