CanUCit?

What?

I dropped the pill.

Which pill? The same one you lost last time, Eliquist?

Yes.

Are you in the same living room?

Yes.

Take a picture of the rug.

OK I still don't see it. Take a picture of the room so I can tell you where to look.

OK, you were near the table, this one, right?

Yes.

OK, Where were you sitting? Same place?

Yes.

That's here, right?

Yes.

OK, maybe it rolled onto your pants. Did you stand up and check?

Yes, I already did that.

Maybe it rolled next to the foot of the table, on the other side, where you can't see. Hold your phone ahead of you and point the camera down, toward the foot of the table. No that's too much. Point it a little more to your left. Up a tiny bit. More. Yes. Great. There it is!!

This of course is for my father. I don't take any pills. Actually, I do. But I never drop them. Wait...

----

...Of course, this is the advanced version to come out in five years time. Meanwhile, the first versions will just find something that you for some reason can't see, by looking at the picture of what you are looking at and searching for something similar to what you cannot find.

Ahh, this is AI doing something useful by seeing what is really there and making sense of it against pill* databases and tile samples/carpet swatches, rather than making stuff up <looking at you, ChatGPT>.

*Conventional pharmaceuticals, vitamin and mineral supplement databases included; police Evidence** lockers could supply visual training on the less-legal drugs.

**Come to think of it, there's a guy who would do this gratis in exchange for a modest sample of each--Has anyone seen the Intercalary?

Can I upload pictures of commonly lost items and then sweep my room and drawers* with my phone camera for an auto-find? Is my marker in this cluttered drawer?

*go ahead, say it.

       No, not since witness protection.

Excellent idea. You should delete this and go make it.

//AutoTidy/ FetchBot/ Help Me Find// Aha! THIS is who/what's going to train [pashute]'s AI, thus electronicalfying the whole process for posterity*.

*Who is Posterity? Must be a Sir PTerry character.

They don't make it look big, it is big anyway. Is that the right answer?

//comic pages are cosmically linked to HB// Or, and hear me out, Brian Crane is an HBer by an(y)other name. The search is on for Brian Crane's HB acronym/moniker/handle!
