Can't cook but want to impress your girlfriend/boyfriend on their birthday/valentines/etc:
Take a can of pressurised ready-mixed cake mix, shake it, squirt it into a cake tin, and bung it in the oven for 20 mins. Top it off with icing from a pressurised can of pre-mixed icing, and "Hey Presta!"
Cake
mix could come in, say, plain, chocolate or lemon flavours. Add chocolate chips and squirt it into a muffin tin for choc-chip muffins, or squirt little rings of it into hot oil for doughnuts.
Sponge pudding in a can
http://shop.store.y...eastore/cak003.html Not quite a birthday cake, but sponge nonetheless. ($3.20 is a bit steep) [suctionpad, Oct 17 2004, last modified Oct 21 2004]

... now if the can was double-ended ie. cake dough from one end, icing from the other, then I think you'd be on to something here [Frankx] + |

Someone who needs this is unlikely to have a cake tin. Why not sell the whole thing pre-packaged in a cake tin?
(Remove outer packaging and film, place in an oven preheated to...) |
