The bug brush is a flat, wire-bristle brushlike object with an ergonomic wooden or plastic handle (to prevent carpal tunnel syndrome). With a wire density similar to that of a cat brush, this device would be constructed so that all bristles are level with one another.
When an offending (or merely
unlucky) insect or other critter is sighted, the bug brush can be swung down onto the creature. The thing is pierced by the firm wire bristles and can be disposed of in the trash.
Removal is simple: Push the conveniently-located slide on the handle forward with your thumb, which lifts the wire bristle assembly in such a way that it eventually passes into the backing, forcing the insect off of the bristles and allowing gravity to take over.
Alternatively, a quick flick of the wrist would allow the trapped corpse to be flung across the room towards your friend's beer. Hilarity and physical violence would, of course, ensue.
Available in several designer colors.
