If any of you are like me, you have a daily or at least semi-weekly routine of websites to go to. With this, you could run a browser macro that takes you to all your favorite websites. Click the macro menu and run the program "Monday" for example. It takes you to your Yahoo! Mail account and logs you
in so you can check your email. Then, once you are done, it takes you to your favorite news site to check up on the headlines. Hit next, and it takes you to your favorite web comic for review, and then to the halfbakery where you can run different views to check how your ideas are doing, as well as checking others' ideas. It could also be tied into a mail client such as Outlook so it would check your email while you are on your browsing spree.

Favo(u)rites Button handles this task nicely.
Doesn't matter if one uses a single, two or more windows. I keep 6 windows open usually - whether using Opera 6.04 and/or IE 6.026. |

Baked, if you use the toolbar for frequently visited
websites and leave autofill forms (in IE) on. |

Instead of favourites or bookmarks, I have an HTML page on my local drive consisting of links to my often-visited sites. OK, it doesn't open them automatically, but I only need to click on a few names to get my regular sites open.
Anyway, you can do this in MS Excel. Enter the URLs of your regular sites, and write some VB that launches each one in turn. It should take about 2 minutes. |

NetCaptor does much of this with something called CaptorGroups. Hit "Monday" and it launches all the pages in that group as tabs. |

Now I just need something to reply to my emails and autopost on halfbakery, and I'll be set. Wait, maybe I have that already. Muaahahaha! |

[waugsqueke], how would you specify what sites to open from a DOS batch file? I know you could open Internet Explorer, but I am not clear on how to specify the site. |

Most of the suggestions are work-arounds, though scripts/batch files could work. I'd also like to see this made a little more powerful by optionally including sites dependent on when they've been updated. |
