(inspired by Orb-o-coaster)

The Orb-o-coaster would be "Here come the warm jets". I can't think right now exactly what the "My life in the bush of ghosts" or "Baby's on fire" rides would be, but they'd be pretty scary

The Intel jingle was written by Walter Werzowa, an Austrian now living in Hollywood, in 1994. [jutta, Jan 11 2005]

Annotation:

Instead of a "Tunnel of Love", there'd be "Julie with ..", where all sound and motion cease and colors fade as boats leave across the undisturbed black water.

Brian Eno wrote that 'duh dee duh dum-mm' Intel Pentium Jingle thing. AAAARRRGGGHHHH!!! Makes me want to rip my own ears off and stuff them down his throat.

Perhaps just Music World (or, more likely, EMI World, Sony World &c) where each zone has a different theme. These zones could be linked like Venn Diagrams by collaboration or similarity, Eno world bleeding into Roxy Music World and so on. You should, hopefully, be able to spend a day wandering from the, say, Richard & Linda Thomspon Zone to Basteroidland.

[etherman] You got the wrong guy.
jutta, Jan 11 2005

Thanks jutta, everything just seemed darker for a moment there...

       Only open on Thursday Afternoon.

Who composed the Intel noise then?
etherman, Jan 12 2005

       Look up, etherman.

Ian, my imagination, prone to grandeur, expanded the idea well past the Realms of Eno, but within the context of hippo's idea, the answer to your question would be "yes".

       Cheers.

Apologies my baking chums I was the victim of some misinformation from a particularly stupid PE teacher.
etherman, Jan 12 2005

       Those PE teachers eh?

Anyone heard 'My Squelchy Life'? Not sure how this would translate into a theme-park ride, but I'm guessing you might need an adjacent cloakroom/shower facility for people to be able to really get the most out of it.

Aparently physical education doesn't cover the brain... but then us drama guys are so gullable.
etherman, Jan 12 2005

       Gullible, too.
bristolz, Feb 14 2005

Late addition to the Brian Eno thread: Brian Eno *did* write the *Windows 95* sound (paraphrased as "boong-bliiiing- tink-tink-tink" in his FAQ). (Replaced with something else in Windows 98.) So, that's probably where etherman's informant got the idea.
