Has a small humidifier in it that pulses gently to mimic human breath, and fogs up the window ever slightly. Goes great with Doc Rem's "2 red lights" system.

Now motion activated!

Okay, let me re-write my greatest inventions in history list here...

1- Blinking eyes security camera LEDs with breath and parting blinds feature.
2- Blinking eyes security camera LEDs with breath feature.
3- Blinking eyes security camera LEDs without breath feature.
4- Science
5- Medicine
6- Pie. The kind you eat, not that stupid math thing that's spelled wrong. — doctorremulac3, Feb 12 2022 [edit, delete]

       Ha!

I don't know why houseowners don't just use a magic lantern to cast shadows at intervals.

Bun, but only if it's connected to a motion detector. Is it connected to a motion detector?
Voice, Feb 12 2022

       ... it is now.

       + I like this!

"Hey, I see you installed one of those new 'breathing security camera' systems."
"No I didn't."

And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is the highpoint of the Halfbakery, when a team idea is born. Bravo to all.

I would put pie above medicine on the list.

Bun from me as this idea, as it has developed, and regardless of quality, now conforms with my requirements for halfbaked ideas as stated over twenty(!)[gulp] years ago (link).
DrBob, Feb 13 2022

I've redone the calculation and you're right, pie with a scoop of ice cream on top goes even higher at #3.

       Thanks Doc.

Now all we need are venetian blind slats with a machined edge for the device's motorised traction cogs to engage with, so that it can rove along the slats; randomly parting them; peering out with twin "eyes" and delivering a puff of breath unto the windows. Idea complete! Well done to the Doc, and 21, but let's not get them made in China - ever! Ha
xenzag, Feb 13 2022

       Agree with that.
doctorremulac3, Feb 13 2022

What he said. Love the parting blinds bit!
21 Quest, Feb 13 2022

       See first annotation rewrite.

We have a new top 6, technology's been bumped off the list!

       Hahaha
