As this beautiful cluster of roses arcs through the air, it disintegrates into a shower of petals, stems, confetti and the occaisonal high velocity thorn.

//What could be more romantic than exploding flowers?// - quite a lot, I should imagine.

I thought of this because I found out that it is now common for couples to keep their bouquet and throw a different one for the guests to catch (especially given how expensive - indeed, how heavy - a bouquet of 60 roses is).

"But, that's just stupid," I protested. "You might as well blow the thing up!"

I'd like a dozen, no make it 2, no 3 dozen - make sure the glass is breakable and the thorns are on, though... +

I like the idea of a skeet / thrown bouquet combo. Maybe at a hillbilly wedding?

A bouquet patterned in the shape of a hubcap. Perfect.

I particularly like [bungston]'s skeet idea... yeehaw!

It was a hand grenade Nasturtium, and as she pulled off the last petal there was a faint click. "He loves me not..."
