Yeah, I wish it made more sense too.

Boredom has been destroying joy since the beginning of time. But is also the mother of invention.

So I propose a role for clinical psychologists and the medical profession.

prescribe activities to human beings to make them less bored.

Study the psyche and what makes a person tick, use evidence from other people to provide precedent. (People who are miserable and like science fiction are likely to like X)

There we go, that's the idea.

If the intent is to encourage innovation, the objective should be to make people more bored, shirley ?

My big brother told me when I was a bored pre-teen that boredom was nothing more than the lack of inner resources.

I became a master at not looking bored, even when I was because I didn't want him to have the satisfaction of being right.

       ... but now you're a bored adult ... ?

// boredom was nothing more than the lack of inner resources. //

       And is he right ?

       // I became a master //

       Gr. "mistress" ...

// because I didn't want him to have the satisfaction of being right. //

       Ah, females ...

There's this thing called irony that those with a sophisticated command of the English language sometimes use ...

... but then you wouldn't know about that.

Obvious intent: Correcting allegedly incorrect grammar.

Subtle subtext: Mildly salacious innuendo about [blissmiss].

Pick the one you like best.

Do we get to do the Voldemort Dark Mark thing, too ?

Don't be so negative, 8th. I think it's cute that girls can sometimes get degrees now. And it shows all the nay-sayers that affirmative action _does_ work.

And then I read the annotations. (Was something deleted here in between the 8ths?)

Yes, [kdf] killed a few annos, but we have them logged if you want them back. Mainly about filling skulls with snakes.
