OK, this may be one of the lamer ideas, but how about a pool table with no felt? There'd just be slate and you could write on it. And with a pool table costing muchos pesos, the $.05 you save on felt would really help out, making them much more affordable for the rest of us. I think this one's a winner, fer sher.
