The word "How?" springs to mind at this point.

Big Kid Day

The last day one of your parents put you down and never picked you up again.

We've all had them, the last day one of your parents realized you were getting too heavy to carry, put you down and never picked you up again.

The idea is to note that date and use it as an excuse to have a little annual celebration of growing up milestones where cards and maybe little gifts are given to celebrate the growing up moments the kid had that year.

An excuse to have some family time together and celebrate aspects of growing up other than just getting older which is covered by birthday parties.

On second thought it wouldn't be a good idea to have that moment carry any weight. (heh)

sort of sweet. I still liked making the height marks on the wall as my daughter grew taller. This could be a good excuse to have families be together again.+

I still try and pick up my nephew. He's a sophomore.
