Necessity is the mother of invention they say. I'd love to enjoy my Grande hot tea that sits by my laptop, and find asking for an ice cube or two way too practical.

I propose a coffee/tea/soup stirrer with radiator fins that helps cool the beverage. The fancier models can have thermocouple-powered temperature readouts.

Perhaps a better version of this idea has been proposed, but I can't find it right now...

       [+] You might consider adding a heat pipe through the device, to allow it to work more quickly. If you do, though, don't forget to add an insulated grip, to prevent users from burning themselves.   

       Also think about putting on thermochromatic paint.
