h a l f b a k e r yIncidentally, why isn't "spacecraft" another word for "interior design"?

Starting with a cake, and utilising only partitioning, replacement, and reassembly*, it is proven that two cakes can be constructed from the original.
*some topological transformations may be required to map the cake into a sphere - these are improved by adding a few drops of edible latex or gelatine
into the cake-mixture.
This is particularly helpful for our plucky and beleaguered elected officials who, in clinging to power whilst delivering something so clearly and destructively ruinous are living out a nightmare of Kafkian proportions - the Banach-Tarski Cake is here to help.
Decorated with millions-and-billions, the cake can be so manipulated in such a way that it can be both consumed and maintained at once, much like immigration policy, a viable economy, the truth, and other such disposable notions.
Also available in Trump flavour (with email sauce) - we did used to stock a Le Pen version, but it seems to have gone off.

Excellent - elegant and educational |

I was wondering if this cake was nowhere dense, but clearly
that's not so. |

If you only put one in the oven, it would be truly the most
perfectly halfbaked idea ever. |

Is there any chance it can be white chocolate and dark chocolate at the same time ? |

If the two cakes were reassembled inside sealed Schrödinger Cat-boxes, then if the boxes were kept sealed there would be no means of verifying whether or not the cakes were intact. Just don't collapse the wave function... |

Of all the ologies I've studied, this is the top one. |

BanachTarski sounds like a mildly unpleasant but nonetheless tempting flavour combination. |

//BanachTarski sounds like a mildly unpleasant but nonetheless tempting flavour combination.// Isn't it Klingon for "Spectacle case"? |

No, trouser press*. You're thinking of "BanrakTarska", which literally translates as "Vision-correcting device carrier". |
|
|
*"Heated compressor for lower-leg coverings". It is impossible to over-emphasize the importance for a male interstellar traveller of never, EVER mispronouncing it as "Benec-ta-ruskki", the Ferengi term for "Solitary Male Immediate Sexual Ecstacy Device". |

Even reconstructive surgery and memory editing, followed by extensive psychological counselling, has proved to be of limited benefit to the tragically small number of survivors. |

The intercalary was once married (briefly) to a trouser press. The circumstances that brought this about are best not described in detail, but suffice to say that it came about largely because of the strict honour code of the Pashtun. |

Actually economists might already be doing this with inflation. Say something has a value of $1 now, with inflation it is later worth $2, yet you can split 1 into 2 identically named dollars this way. And furthermore if you have say a dollar bill with the word "1993" printed on it in 1993 then as of 2017 it has the same value as two actual bills with "1993" printed on them in 2017. |

So politically(?) charts unadjusted for inflation could be doubling or halving things willy nilly to *persuade* people of things. |
