Balisong Key
car key made in typical filipino butterfly knife form | |
Even though a lot of cars today have keyless entry and remote starts, there are still a lot that still have traditional ignitions.
Recently, a lot of car keys have the key integrated into the remote, and will flip out at the push of the button in almost switch-blade fasion. I propose sort of an upgrade
of this; the butterfly-knife car key. Before being opened, it looks just like an average balisong. However upon flipping it open, one realizes it is just the dull blade of a car key. Maybe in 5 years something like this will be obselete (with all of the push-button starts and what not) but in the mean time, there is simply not a more badass way to start your volvo.

Perfect for people who enjoy airport body cavity searches. |
|
|
The bailsong could also be used as a jingle for bail bondsmen who advertise on TV and radio. |

A bailsong is a butterfly knife? |
|
|
Balisong is the butterfly knife. Bailsong goes a little something like this: |
|
|
Oh please, oh please I wanna go home.
The time to trial is oh so long.
Cash my check and pawn my stuff
cause life in the can is oh so tough.
Oh please bail me out, I wanna go home.
Oh how I wanna go home. |

*applauds* Yes, I was thinking - D-minor might work.

Thanks 21, haven't had many halfbaked ideas in a while i suppose. |

I'd actually like to try and make this, but it's pretty hard to find butterfly knives (being illegal and all). Perhaps the local flee market... |
|
|
You can buy 'training' butterfly knives that have a blunt edge - try ebay. I want one now! |
|

Not on UK ebay as far as I can see, [s-n]. I think anything vaguely knife-like is removed. But I liked the US-sourced balisong bottle openers I saw. |

Neat, I used to be able to flick one of those around with more than a little style. I thought it might impress girls but I was wrong. I'd still get the car key version though. |

I still have bruises on the back of my fingers from being a bit overenthusiastic... can probably still do it though (flip it around, not bruise my fingers... okay probably both). |
