I baked cookies today using the commercial 'rolls' of cookie dough and, after feeling slightly ill, decided that these things need a bitter tasting additive that becomes taste-neutral or sweet when heated. Or a neutral, flour-like tasting additive that becomes really sweet when heated.
Aspartame goes
from sweet to bitter when heated, so if the reverse of it, I'd be set..
In addition to being added to pre-made cookies, it could be sold separately and used to bake from scratch, preventing nibblers from noshing before the baking.
Would ruin licking the bowl though...

Aspartame also supposedly causes brain cancer and uterine polyps. But at least you would have lots of cookie dough left over.

Put a raw egg or some bits of raw hamburger in it. Perhaps fear of samonella or e-coli will keep you from sampling until it is safely cooked. |
|
|
Or worms. If the surface of the dough is wriggling you are less likely to eat it. |
|
|
Or sharp broken shards of that fake movie glass that is made from sugar. |
|

Eating the raw cookie dough is half the fun! Why should we make it taste bad!!?!?!?!?!! |

Whoa there, [DesertFox].
You only get so many exclamation points per day here on HB, and I think you just used up your quota. |

I rarely use exclamation points. He can have mine. (but he can't have my parentheses. I need my parentheses.) |
