You're about to take a shower but you know that your significant other will be calling soon. So they don't think that you are ignoring them, you turn on your cell phone's away message feature and record a brief message: "I'm in the shower, I'll call you when I get out!". Just when you are conditioning,
your phone recieves a phone call but instead of ringing, it answers the call and audibly delivers your away message. When you return to your phone you are notified of the missed call and all is well. I think this can be easily added to new cell phones since no new technology is needed, and this could be a competitive selling point for cell phones.

Very nice. Also very easy to add into a VoIP server - even have different messages based on caller id. |

I like, and I thought of this myself, but you can also have different away messages for different people. I work retail, and my boss often calls to see if I can work a day-off (as someone would call out) |

but you don't want your boss getting the gf's message. |
so have "hey baby, im in the shower" for the girlfriend |
"hey sweetie im stuck in traffic" for the wife |
"hey sexy, im at dave's" for the other girlfriend |
and "mr lumberg, ill call you back" for the boss |
