Astronomical song

Or how to make astronomy memorable

Whilst pondering the lack of (decent) astronomically themed songs, well except for "Super Massive Hole" of course.

I was wondering if it might make teaching this field of science easier in schools, prisons or latrines, or wherever people gather to look up at the stars.

I was thinking of something like "These Boötes are made for walking".

Yes, I am aware of astrocappella, but they are too wordy per name and "Drops of Jupiter" by Train which hardly mentions celestial objects at all....it's a swizz.

       Well there is

Randy Crawford "When I Get Nova You",

Carl Thomas (who?) "Oh No (You Can't Be Sirius)"

and the perennial favourite "Never mind the Pollux" of course.

This is just a call for a list isn't it? You really should do better, n_m_rm. Or... <croon> ... would you like to swing on a star? Carry moonbeams home in a jar? </croon>
