A theme park ride consisting of small cars on a very long, twisting downhill track.
The cars are on a guide rail and run on very low friction wheels, or even maglev. They are constrained to prevent them actually leaving the track. Apart from that, the speeds and accelerations are consistent with a
real bobsleigh run.
The experience induces bowel-emptying terror in users.

A roller coaster is a loop of track. This isn't. |
|
|
A roller coaster is elevated. This isn't. |
|
|
A roller coaster speeds up and slows down. This doesn't. |
|
|
It's not a roller coaster. |

Didn't a frenchman invent a suit to do this? |

Little bobsleds on the hillside,
Little luges made of fiberglass,
Little coasters going downhill,
On little tracks all the same.
There's a cement one, and a metal one,
And one made out of aerogel,
And they all go down the hill,
Not up in any case. |
|
|
And the people in the offices,
Go to the hills on weekends,
Climbing up to the top of them,
To come down all just the same.
Oh these people, they are sportsmen,
And amateurs and calligraphers,
Oh these people scream going downhill,
As being forty is no longer the same. |
|
|
And they spend all day on the hillsides,
Drinking coffee and amphetamines,
Having left all their children in boxes,
And the guilt doesn't worry them,
And neither does finances
Because they keep going up these hillsides,
and coming down all the same! |
