App Plause Button

 Keep filming the child while making cheering sounds.

When the audience is all parents, and the parents are all filming, an extra button on the touch screen will generate a simulacrum of applause without interrupting the recording of the performance.

The better- organised parent will have pre-recorded some applause noises, possibly including whoops and "Go, [name of child]!"
