You could just try grounding yourself before touching the
cat, perhaps with a long copper rod inserted through a hole
in the floor near the sofa and extending below your
foundation. |
These problems are easily avoided by shaving or
waxing the cat. |
Use a catpacitor to adsorb the charge? |
Wimshurst machine, MUHWHAHAHAH! |
For cars, you can get those little conductive rubber
tails that drag along the ground, allegedly to
discharge static. I'm sure something similar could be
fitted to a cat. |
So are we. We will report the results of practical testing as soon as we
can find and capture a cat. |
This may take a while, as for some odd reason there is a long-
standing dearth of cats in our vicinity. Not that we're complaining; we
only require a few now and again for testing and experimental
purposes - usually for projectile weapons. |

My cat Frisco appears to enjoy the occasional jolt,
and runs back for more. Hmph, what could that
signify, I wonder? |

Your cat sounds a little bit freaky. If you truly love Mr
Frisco you should consider buying him a taser. |
Also on the matter of cat grounding ACS, you could
attach
a car tire to any cats head and not have to worry
about static electricity |
Hmmm, a taser huh? Very funny. His birthday is
rapidly approaching though. Do they cost much I
wonder? |
Mr. Frisco is a sophisticated name for a cat btw i like
it |
you should get one of those old hand crank shockers
the kind they used to cure tooth aches this might be
a more intimate method of delivering a shocks vs a
straight tazer |

The last-but-one time I was in Malaysia, they had
tasers (the non-projectile kind) for sale at half the
stalls in the main street market in KL. Naturally I
bought one (150 Ringitts, haggled down to 75 -
about £15). |
It made truly awesome 2-inch arcs between the
metal prongs, which equates to about 50kV.
Never had the nerve to test it on anyone. Sadly,
it died after a few weeks. |
Last time I went, I asked around and it seems
they've been banned, which is disappointing. |

they saw you coming <link> |
Given a good line of sight, and nothing else to look at, they could have seen you coming any number of times. |
Now, if we assume x as Max's position, and the line of sight to be 15 degrees <disappears in cloud of chalk dust.> |

a damming indictment of T-mobile's patchy 4G I'm
afraid. |
