During a drinking binge in Cambridge, I discovered that McDonalds milkshakes taste bloody great with vodka in them. Never before have I seen an alcoholic shake (no pun intended) anywhere. This would be a surefire winner at cocktail bars and clubs. The only worry is that some kind of dangerous chemical
reaction takes place within the beverage, which could explain why this market remains unexplored.

Pina Colada sounds like a milky alcoholic beverage - how does that not fit into 'this market remains unexplored'? White Russians too? It's a milkshake with Kahlua. That looks baked to me. |

A Pina Colada is hardly a thick, creamy shake. White Russians though milky, are not milkshakes either. |

So you want a milkshake with alcohol in it? On you go, then. Just remember: you discovered this "while on a drinking binge" which suggests that you may have been, y'know, steamboats. Alcohol can make a sweaty kebab look and taste delicious, so be careful. |

The first (and last) cocktail I ever invented was made of Coca-Cola, vodka and banana juice. I thought it was great, until I made it a second time, whereupon it tasted of bile. |

I invented one called the "Jim Jones" after the Guyana Massacre. Some Creme de Noyaux (Almond - like Cyanide somewhat tastes), some 7up or Milk and you were drinking a Jim Jones. A friend of mine (who has since gone on to better things {though he lost 300 million dollars last year}) - would go to bars and order "Jim Jones" in order to befuddle the bartender, yet in high hopes we would lay claim to the mockery. |

No one else has made beer milkshakes? Or beer floats? They foam a lot, but well worth the effort. Best with a cream ale. |

My brother drinks Malibu and milk; no reason one shouldn't use milk-shake instead. My sister drinks Witches Brew (milk and Coke); no reason one shouldn't add vodka. |

Baked. For a long time before 1991, I'm sure, but in that year, I saw a recipe in GQ magazine for a Chocolate Chambord Demi-Glace, which called for Creme de Cacao and Chambord to be blended with vanilla Haagen-Dazs, poured, then topped with chocolate sauce. Sounds like a alcoholic milkshake to me. |

I've made alcoholic milkshakes...a half gallon of coffee ice cream, some milk, most of a bottle of Kaluha and most of a bottle of vodka. |

kahlua, amaretto, creme de cacao and vanilla ice cream. Blend until smooth. Best served on Friday/Saturday nights with "Say Anything" or "Bridget Jones's Diary." Makes only enough for 1, no matter what quantities of ingredients you use. |

A word of advice - these milkshake cocktails are all very well, but never, on any account, try Southern Comfort and milk. The milk curdles. It is bad. Very, very bad. Bleurgh. |
