Air Cruise Ship

 "Ocean Liner" is to "Cruise Ship" as "Airship" is to what?

Everyone knows that the great ocean liners of the early 20th century eventually evolved into today's cruise ships. I propose the creation of a cruise line utilizing large airships much like those seen in the 30's and 40's and with similar luxury and amenities (albeit on a smaller scale) to modern cruise ships.

This could also be further extended by operating a cruise line with both airships and conventional cruise ships.

       after a quick perusal of the Hindenburg site I suppose that this could be compared to a very small cruise ship so actually inside the realm of reason. scaled up to the capacity of a modern cruise ship would be absolutely huge.

well if you insist you can, otherwise with the lifting power increasing cube-ically with size, while the number of passenger-cabins placed on the skin increases square-ically, there's an optimum (rather large) size where the entire outside of the envelope is composed of passenger-cabins (plus observation areas, lounges, dining, etc.). The cabins above the midline won't have a view of what's underneath, but perhaps they can have balconies.
