Aerial Aura Photography

Where are those pesky weapons?

Proponents of aura photography claim that by passing a current through an individual, they can capture aspects of mood, temperament and other qualities with a special Aura Camera. Electrical storms cause a similar flow of current up from the earth, through objects on the surface, and from there to clouds. This flow should produce auras in the various objects on the land.

I propose that otherwise nondescript buildings might be distinguished by their auras. Mass destruction no doubt produces a fairly drastic and characteristic aura, and this technique could be used to guide inspectors to likely buildings. As aerial aura science develops, no doubt other uses will be found as well.

Several validation flights would need to take place in order to learn what sort of objects produce which auras. A disadvantage is that this technique would only be useful in countries prone to electrical storms. Seasoned pilots would be necessary to guide the plane through these storms. But isn't world peace worth it?

       Nah... cute satire.

Per Ghost Busters II, you'll pick up a big one over the Metropolitan Museum. Not to mention the subway system. Don't know if anyone's harboring weapons of mass destruction there, though.

I've seen Kirlian photos where a person with an amputated hand still had the aura of it when photographed this way. (?)

You could also just listen to Mother Earth sigh and figure where she's sighing the loudest.

Or trust in dowsing, remote viewing, the CIA, and numerous other unreliable superstitions.

[2 fries], are you suggesting that even if the weapons are all gone, that their evil auras might remain? Innocent buildings might retain aural traces of their former uses? Very Stranger in a Strange Land.

       Yes.
It was meant as a deep meaningful commentary on the lingering aura of the spirit of past evils, and in no way reflects on the amount of beer consumed before annotating at two in the morning.
At least I think it was two.
