A Small Threaded Hole is an optional extra which you can select when acquiring any new hand-held device. The hole is located at the balancing point of the equipment and is kept dust free by means of a neat little cap.

To make use of the hole, the owner of the equipment screws into place its complimentary telescopic handle. This converts the apparatus into a high-tech hammer, which can then be used to self destructively pound itself into a pile of smithereens, at an appropriate moment of dire frustration.

       You could provide this as a service. You would need to research a fairly large number of devices to know where you can drill a hole in each device, then bond a threaded bit to it.

       Jutta, You could start small and work your way up:   

       Take one threaded polo mint, to make a small and fragile hammer. Use it to nail something slightly bigger to make a bigger hammer. Iterate until you can nail that telescopic handle onto the electronic equipment of your choice. Hammer away. Post your learning process on a blog, for world-wide interest. By the time you get to your expensive piece of equipment, your anger may have dissipated enough for you to reconsider destroying an expensive piece of equipment when you could have sold it to some other sucker on eBay and bought a different, less annoying (or at least differently annoying) replacement.

       marklar, I think you're onto something there... here it comes... almost there... yes... AHA, sweetccano! The threaded polos make the wheels and gears (with added teeth), together with a variety of specially crafted sweets allow children to create their very own edible edifice, consumable construction, or delicious device.
