5-a-side Live

Match of the Day for us all

Build a five-a-side football pitch in the traditional fashion (4 walls two goals etc.), but each corner of the pitch is made of perspex (or some other transparent yet solid material).
Behind this is a video camera in each corner, that records the game. This could be burnt onto a dvd (using the multiple angle option) and included in the price to book the pitch.
This would clear up any arguments after the game and provide evidence that I did indeed score the greatest goal ever last week!

Well said Mike, I too love 5-a-side football but often feel cheated due too dodgy decisions. What about playing on a perspex floor with a series of camera's installed subterraneously to record all the action simultaneously?

Thank the stars for 5 a-side women's football eh [Muzzanator]? <ahem>

It's more for the fun aspect [muzz], i try not to let dodgy decisions get me too down after the game.
Another possible application, if you play in a five a side league, they could run a goal of the season competition.

In what sense is this "live"?
AbsintheWithoutLeave, Mar 24 2005

i suppose it could be broadcast in the bar.
Try not to get too hung up on the name!

The misleading title of this idea is offset by the fact that AbsintheWithoutLeave is one of my favorite baker-names. Here's a croissant.
