Unfortunately, there is no category for Business: Scam: Financial: Services.

Most 419 letters are, let's face it, idiotic. They're awful, and the rock-bottom brainless gullibility of their authors is only slightly exceeded by that of their victims, as sites like http://www.419eater.com amply demonstrate.

I propose a subscription-based service for scam artists that will let them run their emails through a community- based spelling, grammar, and fact checker (e.g. to ensure that it was, in fact, His Excellency Ernest Shonekan who held the Nigerian Presidency before General Sani Abacha and not the other way around, and that "it's" with an apostrophe is never used as a possessive article in emails purporting to originate with the FBI).

       Woah.

[fuzzybunny], you got here in October of '07, and this is your first idea. You have annoed twice during that time frame.

We often encourage bakers to take some time to get to know the site before posting ideas...I can see that won't be necessary with you.

       Welcome to the Halfbakery.

From the title, I thought this was for if you're on Craigslist and you accidentally type "419" instead of "420", thus depriving yourself of a marijuana fix.
