Whenever I played with toys as a child, I always had unwitting nomal people caught up in G.I. Joe battles or being saved by Luke Skywalker or Batman. But these normal folk were invariably other action figures who just didn't have their guns or accessories attached. A package of twenty four 3 and 3/4
inch civilians, dressed in casual clothes, possibly with little plastic cell phones and magazines, would solve this dilema.
(?) People walking, 8-pack

Wargames miniatures, civilians pack (one example of).
http://www.noblekni...sp?search=civilians Very baked. Wargames miniatures manufacturers have been producing such things for yonks. [DrBob, May 15 2009]

This would be perfect for the sheltered home schooled kid whose parents fail to teach them about conflict, violence, and the cruelty of the real world. |
And I wished there were more normal kinds of Matchbox cars. |
Next idea: Matchbox Pinto. |
Ooh, definitly. Accessories could include a baby carriage and different scenarios (crumbling building, busy intersection, etc) |
Nice. Get your kids to know the meaning
of 'collateral damage' as early as possible. |
"See, Billy? These people aren't important because they don't have guns."
OR
"See how hard it is for GI Joe to do his job right? You hurt that baby." |
24 undercover G.I Joes, cool. |
ooo! You could have all kinds of varients too. |
24 pack of suburbanites, with minivans and SUVs. |
24 pack of yuppies. Suits and BMWs. |

Church Pack B (Unitarian): Fourteen Adults, Ten children (mostly asian). |

When I was a kid, GI Joe (Action Man where I grew up) was big enough to play with Barbie, so we just hoiked the girls' dolls when we needed civilian casualties, nurses, etc. |
Yeah, but the newer Joes are a lot smaller than today's Barbies. It'd be as if all the women in the world were twice their size. |
Side note: If anyone uses that as inspiration for an erotic G.I. Joe/ Barbie fanfic, I will spend the rest of my days hunting you down. |
...then it could be the attack of the 50 foot woman |
Hey, wait just a cotton picking minute... Where are my fishbones? I have two whole croissants! INSANITY! |
Sell them with a CD of screaming sounds and put them on the shelf under the lighter fluid. |
They may not be G.I.'s, but I'll bet if you do a background check on them half will turn out to be GS-x's and Defense Contractors. Don't be fooled by the civilian attire. |
Did anyone else witness the sickening spectacle of an Action Man (G.I. Joe) and Barbie/Cindy wedding? I still feel uncomfortable about it today. |
Aynone up for a game of GI joe, Average Joe CSS? |
Reminds me of the lego CS videos, on putfile.com . |
I think "Homies" that come from gumball machines at your local grocery are already pretty close to civilians in my neighborhood. (The Mission, SF) |
I need some Homies, some guys with birkenstocks and beards, a scattering of yuppies.... |
You could call them Innocent Victims. |
A couple of christmasses ago my son was given a model kit for a volcano, complete with chemicals to make it 'erupt' and little cardboard figures of terrified fleeing civilians. I thought the running people were the coolest bit of it. |
I always thought this idea was totally baked and widely know to exist... see link... one of dozens of similar examples. Why so popular? Maybe I'm missing something? |
Note to self (MUST get a set of those Horrified B-Movie Victims) |
xenzag, you should look out for the Angry Mob Playset as well. Cool stuff! |
//Where are my fishbones?// |
It's a good idea. Sorry. Bun for you. |
This isn't *quite* baked. They do have civilian figures, but they aren't civilian action figures, what with full joints and the ability to hold props. What if I want one of the civvies to pick up a fallen rifle and join the fight? |
