1978 Style WW2 Anti Aircraft Game

Profiles of planes descend Space Invaders style but evolves from the 1978 version to the modern as you get to new levels.

You shoot them down identifying them only by their profile.

Is that an FW-190 or a P-47? You'll have to judge only by the silhouette before it flies over you and either drops a bomb, if it's an enemy, or returns to base if it's your side.

Scoring is simple, point on for shooting down a Zero or ME-262, point off for shooting down a Spitfire or Mustang.

At some point you'd stop playing because you learned how to identify over 100 airplanes, but that would be a cool, if useless skill to aquire.

(Levels updating to newer tech look from V and Neut.)

They names would only pop up as they either blew up or passed over you to land or drop a bomb. https://scontent-sj...xujcD7w&oe=67BA883A

It needs the full 3-D experience with the whole situation rendered and the airplanes seen far away in various silhouettes. Add pre- and post-attack briefings in some cases and some cases where you're just thrown out there in the middle of an attack without warning. Various types of AA guns with their own advantages, quirks and flaws. Sometimes you can be posted on a ship and have to deal with the movement of the ship and sea. Sometimes you get a targeting computer or an offset provided by one.

       Hey, that's part 2!

How about a historical style video game evolution? I like that! Tag the series with the year it's modeled after.

Flak Blaster 1978 (basically Space Invaders)

Flak Blaster 1985 (styled after whatever the top air raid game is)

       Flak Blaster 1990 (etc)

And check this out, that's the name. There is no Flak Blaster video game.

So the idea for a mythical historical game series.

Thank you for the inspiration V!

Instead of a series, have the game itself "evolve" in quality/age. Starts off "ancient" as described, then as you get further through (based on score or time or both or whatever) it progresses, so by Level 25 (or whenever) you're now playing a full photo-realistic 3D FPV with weather & everything.

Whoa, okay. That's the new idea.

       Adding that now.

       Done.

       Thanks.
Further thought: planes get newer as "game style age" gets newer (matching times obvs...). So you won't (eg.) get an F22 on the late-'80's side-scroller level.

       Done.

Hey, can I just ask AI to program this?

       I'm gonna try.
