So... another call about your refrigerator and its state of physical activity, but this time they forgot the *67(caller ID block). You got their number, but what to do with it? Call 1-900-BUG-THEM, thats what. A collective of bored teenagers will call them every five minutes, either hanging up directly on them, or maybe belching then hanging up, asking THEM how THEIR fridge is, Etc. for a nominal fee.

I thought this would be a service for bugging those who fail to deal with your complaints (i.e. to keep bugging the local council about potholes, or keep bugging the phone company about a crackle on the line). But I like your idea as well! [+]

I don't get it- Is the call about your refrigerator a telemarketer and this idea is to go back and annoy the telemarketer that called you?
Jscotty, Oct 12 2007

       Yes.

(-) Meh, vigilante justice. Once the fridge thing gets boring, siccing these on someone will be the next prank to play.

The kind of professional, often automated, call services that I'd really want to lash out against are unlikely to "forget the *67".

yeah, gotta agree with [jutta]. not much good ever comes of devising ways to irritate and annoy others.

       1994

A friends police/radio freq scanner picks up the cordless phone calls of the neighbor across the street (a dink).

Friend calls local pizza shop, and orders pizza to his address. 30 minutes later the pizza arrives.

After the pizza is turned away and written off as a prank, friend calls neighbor and says he is from the pizza shop, and apologizes for the inconvenience, and a new pizza will be sent, made to order.

1 hour later he hears the neighbor calling the pizza joint and asking where his complimentary pizza is.

After this he called back and told the man that a new employee had been dealing with him and didn't know it was a new order, and the pizza would be there soon. Again so sorry blah blah blah...

It was a truly evil genius as far as prank calls go.

actually, some guy who lives like, 1500 miles away was trying to get me to "meat" him for a fight because I am a "peace" of crap, and then he gave his phone number out to a person he never even met before. So i thought it would be fun to have a bunch of people call him and "blow up" his phone.
