Computer: Case
Mood Laptop   (+1, -3)  [vote for, against]
A laptop case that has the mood ring goodness

From your favorite PC / Mac suppliers a bran spanking new mood case for your new Apple PowerBook or PC mobile laptop...

This is more of a decision from the manufacturers to supply the general public with the visual indicator of the “mood” of your laptop…

ThermoBoard MFD - See annos and idea. [DesertFox, Feb 02 2005]

So like the blue light, but red when it's angry? Can a macintosh get angry? Linux, certainly, but a mac?
-- Worldgineer, Feb 02 2005

I don't know about mood... but it would be very interesting to see the heat dissapation pattern of a lappy like that.

{MFD] Redundant with my thermoboard.

Which was posted two days ago.

Maybe you read it, and forgot that you had, but remembered the idea, and posted it.

I know that I have done that sometimes.

Hate to say it but, I haven't read your thermoboard till just a few ago... Sweet Idea and that is exactly what I was thinking for for the case and the heat that a laptop generates... I got this idea playing with a mood ring at work after moving my laptop and feeling the heat left on the desk where it was...

Didn't mean to step on toes DesertFox... I like your idea better...
-- forgeman, Feb 03 2005

Though I would agree that this might be suitable as an annotation on the other idea, I wouldn't call it redundant (he says, as though it matters what he says). There are plenty of "mood" products floating around here.

It's okay. You can remove this idea and post it as an anno.

And thanks for the compliment.

[DesertFox], you seem to have gone mad with indiscriminate [m-f-d]s recently. You have an idea for a temperature-changing keyboard; forgeman wants a laptop that changes colour. One uses heat from the user, one from the computer. One is a peripheral, the other is a computer. The only commonality is the colour-changing.

[forgeman] seems to be taking an appropriate course of action on [DF]'s suggestion.

[half] oh... when bitch-slapping is the appropriate action, i'm all for it.
