peels ‘em while you wait!

Energy efficient, high-speed peeling. Corrosion-proof, 6-liter chamber of crystal glass for quiet operation. Stainless steel, adjustable bottleneck reduces jamming. Removable splashguard is easy to clean and replace. Threaded, bottom gives fast evacuation.

To use, heat urn in sink under hot running water for 30 seconds. Open top of banana peel and insert exposed tip of banana in bottleneck. Run cold water over the bottle surface and behold as the fruit is sucked in, bereft of its skin.

I love this stuff! [XSarenkaX, Oct 05 2004, last modified Oct 21 2004]

For the monkey who has everything ?

I think you'd want to use Pyrex rather than glass crystal. Also, why do you want a bottle full of peeled bananas?

8/7: A primate with a monkey boat, monkey block, monkey flower, monkey gaff, monkey jacket, monkey rail, monkey shine, monkey trick, monkey wheel, monkey wrench and ducked ape roll, but that hasn't yet acquired a banana bottle, hasn't evolved.

Well Doctor, I’ve been having this recurring dream. Nightmare really. I get this idea, but I have a feeling that it’s crap. After writing it down, my suspicions become stronger that it sucks, but I post it anyway thinking that maybe others with unusual taste might appreciate it anyway. Afterwards I realize that life IS fair – there’s no free muesli, with or without bananas.

This device eliminates the need to "banana" one's fingers while preparing banana splits and, my favorite, banana banana bread. (link)

I suppose it could be, if you have the right pan and coloring available. :)

OK, while you are trying to figure out how to get the bannana out of the bottle, I have already peeled (de-peeled?) mine by hand and finished eating it.

I can't see the point, unless this is some sort of porn substitute and you just want to watch a cylindrical object slowly insert itself into an oriface... OK, I can see the point.

buddha & ato: I think you missed the //Threaded, bottom gives fast evacuation.// part. I would not expect many ideas here to be faster/cheaper/simpler/more efficient or practical than in the real world.

Better be careful what you put in that thing.

//how do you get the bananas out of the bottle? //

You cap it, stick it in the dirt for about six months, remember where you put it, and then drink it once it has fermented.
Banana brandy, Mmmmm.
