why, comic sans of course

Every piece of this jigsaw puzzle has a letter on one side and is a solid color on its reverse side.
Every piece, other than the border, fits every other piece to create your own custom jigscript puzzles like;

I HATE JIGSAW PUZZLES

or,

IF YOU CAN READ THIS
IT TOOK AN INORDINATE AMOUNT OF TIME TO WRITE.

Stuff like that.

I dont understand, how would anyone else know where to put the pieces?

I like this, you'd have some gibberish left over at the final stages.

I didn't explain clearly enough. Sorry about that.

The pieces are all invertable as well as interchangable, so you have the option of exposing only the letters you wish by turning that piece face up or face down. It would take much less time than a conventional puzzle so kids would enjoy them more.
If it was a 1000 pc. puzzle you'd have 1000 random letters minus the edge pieces. Heck, throw in the extra pieces so you don't have to worry about the kids losing any.

You can write anything you want. See if you can make consecutive words from every letter, or if you could make a continuous puzzle length run-on sentence. Diagonals, patterns... a crossword jigsaw puzzle.
{Crap. I shoulda thought of that one first.}
Anything you want to write.

With different backgrounds and fonts I think that they would be a thing.

using comic sans might reduce your market rather.

If the pieces are completely interchangable writing messages wouldn't take a completely inordinate amount of time.
Put in a bit of optionally matched texturing though, and that might be a different matter.

You could have each letter printed on multiple pieces of different shapes, so that you can make it say anything you want but constructing the desired message really is a challenging puzzle. If all the pieces fit all the other pieces, you might as well be playing with alphabet blocks.
