Think about it. You wake up in the morning, late for work, school, or whatever, but you still have to have your coffee. So you take the time to grab the mug, coffee, sugar, and creamer.
Well I have an idea to fix this problem. Why not have instant coffee, sugar, and powdered creamer all in a
sealed styrofoam cup(think cup-of-noodles). All you have to do is remove the seal, pour in hot water, stir and your ready to go!
Real zippy coffee
http://www.chem.sot.../stories/coffee.htm You don't even need to heat the water. And "the canned coffee tastes better than most cups made at home," if you are prepared to believe Nescafe. [DrCurry, Oct 04 2004]

Good idea! I give it a 2 thumbs up! |

I personally don't drink coffee but I still think this would be really convenient!
They could be offered in vending machines too.
The only problem I could see is that not everyone like cream & sugar - and people who do like it like different amounts - but you could solve this by offering "BLACK" "CREAM ONLY" "SUGAR ONLY" "CREAM & SUGAR" and "LOTS OF CREAM & SUGAR" |

[Keleigh] You should seriously look into getting a patent for this if it doesn't already exist - you could be a millionaire with this idea! |

who's a naughty sarcastic funky chunky? |

not to sound like a dumb blonde [po] - but - HUH???
What you talkin bout, Willis?
what is "who's a naughty funky chunky?" supposed to mean?? |

I quite like this idea and I think it could be commercially viable if it hasn't already been done. |

Instant coffee is disgusting stuff. |
|
|
I don't think the point is so much in the taste - not meant to be gourmet - just convenient. |

Millions of people drink instant coffee just because it's FAST - same reason people eat McDonalds & B.K. |

The mix has been available for years. The idea of putting it in a sealed cup...well, that would take up a lot of space on the shelf, wouldn't it? |

A day late and a collar short, I think: they're already making self-heating cups of coffee. (See link.) |

<Steven wright> I made instant coffee in the microwave and I almost went back in time. </Steven Wright> |

Depends if it's designed to be stackable, the way many microwave popcorn "tubs" are. |

I wonder if it would be practical to construct an electrically self-warming coffee can for automotive use? One would have to find a cheap alloy with suitable resistive properties to ensure that the can would heat itself to the correct temperature, but I wouldn't think that would be too hard. |
