x Megaton Bomb Balloons are a type of inflatable that replicate the catastrophic expansion of nuclear bomb detonations. They come in a range of two variables: size of TNT equivalent yield (the megaton factor); and time in nano-seconds after detonation.

They are inflated by simply blowing air into their interior regions, in the usual manner, but the balloons' material composition is not uniform, having been carefully structured to expand and contort and elongate to eventually replicate a fully formed mushroom cloud. (if that option was selected) Others may choose a balloon that replicates the colours and globular shape that occur a nano- second after detonation. (see link images)

With the activation of an internal LED, you have a nice party balloon for those attracted to all things connected to Armageddon.

Ha ...... how is an umbrella the same as a balloon? Silly.

       ... like Hiroshima.

..or the Aleutians. Most spooky video of underground detonation, as you can see something mega has happened, but no mushroom cloud. Link

That Aleutian test looks impressive but it wouldn't come close to the spread of a large earthquake Megaton event.
