Instead of colour wheels, why not provide an option
where
you search for colours based on name, and it gives you a
pallet that best matches it. Like a mini google search.
So if you want the colour that you notice from an apple.
You type apple, and you get a set of pallet that generally
is
associated with apple, e.g. apple red, apple green, apple
brown roots. etc...

This would require a database, but you can make this
offline or online. Online has the advantage of user up-
datable pallets. But a mix of both would be good.
